Hive's price has been continuously falling and recently at the time of writing it is around $0.04. As I mentioned in my previous blogs there is huge liquidity available around $0.0322 and there is about an 80% chance that the price could touch that level.
But the best thing about this price drop is that it has brought a major advantage to Hive users and the Hive ecosystem. This could be the lowest price level for Hive.
The biggest reason for this is our beloved Hive holders who are not powering down their stake. Instead they continue to power up because they believe that one day this ecosystem will definitely perform well.
Most of the staking in the ecosystem is locked at around $0.03 to $0.04. These are the same users who will not allow the price to fall much further.
Even though earnings at the moment are very low the people who are still creating content especially the whales and senior Hive users who continue blogging are the ones who are actually giving value to this ecosystem. They do not want Hive's price to fall any further.
I also want to say that because of these stakers I believe Hive's value will never go to zero and that is the biggest good news for all Hive users.
I had actually been waiting for the day when Hive would experience a major crash so it would become clear who the genuine users are and who the temporary users are. It would show who supports Hive during difficult times and who only returns when things become good again.
Speaking about myself during these 7 to 8 years of my journey I have done many power ups and power downs. Especially during bull markets I powered down a lot. But one thing that is special about me is that I have always done huge power ups at lower prices.
Right now I have around 50K Hive Power and I have no intention of powering it down. I truly believe that I should hold this ecosystem strongly and help it grow.
Recently when Hive was around $0.06, I bought around 40000 to 45000 Hive and powered it up with the intention of contributing to the growth of this ecosystem.
So the main point I want to make is this. Do not be afraid of these lower prices. Instead they show that Hive is unlikely to fall much lower because so many users have staked their Hive and that staking is helping protect the price from falling further. That is a very positive sign.
The users who are still blogging today are the ones truly adding value to this ecosystem.
At these low prices the earnings are not very attractive. Earlier when the price of hive was above $0.15, I used to earn around $15 to $20 from a post but now I earn only $1 to $2. Of course that is a huge difference but I do not worry about it... My goal is to stay connected with this ecosystem for the long term....
I am confident that I will benefit greatly from this ecosystem. For that I simply need patience and the willingness to wait.
I would also request other DHF proposal, owners, whales and witnesses to avoid further power downs. As much as possible convert HBD into Hive and buy Hive. This will strengthen the price improve liquidity and help Hive make a stronger reversal and move upward again.
Finally I want to share this good news with all Hive users once again.
Hive has now reached a level where the large amount of staked Hive is helping prevent the price from falling further and I believe this is one of the greatest strengths and achievements of the Hive ecosystem.
