When the Sky Becomes a Beautiful Painting || A Beautiful Day Despite Illness

The weather has changed, and I am not feeling well. I have caught a cold, flu, and cough. My whole family is also disturbed by this illness and we all want to get rid of this disease as soon as possible and return to our normal routine.

There are some days that feel very pleasant to a person. Especially when you are sick, even some simple things make you feel really good. Just like yesterday when I went up to the rooftop, the day looked very beautiful to me.

I could see a beautiful sky with scattered clouds covering it. The chirping of birds sounded so lovely. It looked as if the clouds and mountains were playing with each other while the trees were taking their last breaths of this season. In short it was a wonderful scene and a beautiful view.

Especially if I talk about these pigeons they are such beautiful birds. In our city, Quetta there is a tradition in which some households, though not very common, have large pigeon houses on their rooftops. They keep around 100 to 200 pigeons in these pigeon houses.

Above all, it is part of our tradition and culture that people who keep pigeons also have a passion for flying them. They like to challenge other pigeon owners by making their pigeons fly together in the sky.

By this, I mean that one flock of pigeons is mixed with another flock and then they are made to fly around in circles in the sky. The pigeons with better bloodlines usually manage to attract the other pigeons and bring them back to their owner's house. Then the owner catches those pigeons.

So, this is a very interesting part of our culture. You will especially see this activity in the morning. As you can also see in the pictures, flocks of pigeons can be seen at different places in the sky making this beautiful natural scenery even more attractive.

When I climbed onto the rooftop of my house and was about to leave for work, I really liked this view. I thought I should take some pictures and share them with all of you.

As you can see, the combination of beautiful mountains with clouds and the way they blend into the sky looks very lovely. Then there are flocks of pigeons that you can see flying in the sky. I have also shared views of our beautiful roads, the way houses are built here, the buildings and all these wonderful scenes with you.

The best thing is that yesterday and today, our local weather forecast has predicted rain. I hope we will receive some light rainfall. This will be the first rain after almost six to seven months which is certainly a reason for happiness for us. Rain itself is a blessing and we should always appreciate it.

When I took one or two more pictures in the evening, you can notice dark clouds gathering around the sunset. This is a sign that tomorrow's rain forecast may come true and perhaps we will receive some rain today. I am really looking forward to it.

Once the rain starts I will definitely share some pictures of the beautiful rainy weather with all of you as well.
