The three days of Eid were very wonderful and special. One of the most important things was that I had the opportunity to meet the great scholar Allama Liaqat Ali Murtazvi. Along with this I spent good time with friends and the days passed in a very pleasant gathering.
Time passed so quickly that I did not even realize when the third day of Eid came to an end... Once again we said goodbye to Eid with sad faces and emotional moments because Eid is a festival that comes only twice a year and then we have to wait for a long time for it to return back..
The reason these occasions affect me so much is that Eid is a festival that connects relatives, brings friends closer, creates a joyful and colorful environment and provides great opportunities to help poor and needy people.
As I mentioned in my previous post during all three days of Eid we were visiting the homes of relatives and friends... We went to each others house to share eid gatherings. This is part of our tradition and culture that during Eid we visit relatives and friends, strengthen relationships and share gifts with each other..
Wherever we go there are arrangements for delicious food. We give Eidi to children and share happy moments with one another.. Every year the first day of Eid is to visit my home and therefore all my friends came and wishes each other. I welcomed them warmly and had great times there.
On the second day of Eid we visited the home of our respected elder Haji Daulat Hussain which is also the head of FIC institute. He also made excellent arrangements and welcomed us warmly. On the third day of Eid we visited Muhammad Hussain who is the manager in National Bank of Pakistan.
The best thing was that we met the great scholar Allama Liaqat Ali Murtazvi and benefited from his knowledge and discussion. I have tried to share different moments through pictures.
In the beginning when friends arrived at the house there was the beautiful culture of hugging and greeting each other. I tried to capture many photographs of those moments.
I also took separate pictures of people while they were busy talking and enjoying conversations. I tried to capture the every moment of eid gather specially the foods which are being served and which were available to be served..
This is what Eid is all about sharing in each others joys and sorrows and spending quality time with friends and family.. This is the real lesson that teaches in such great events
The greatest beauty of Eid is that it is not only about wearing new clothes or eating good food rather t teaches us to spread love and forgiveness, that how to live with peace and kindness, respect one another and value every person AND every religion..
Most importantly Eid is a wonderful opportunity to bring family members and friends closer together.
Eid is truly a festival of happiness, gratitude and brotherhood. It is not limited only to Muslims... its values of love, compassion and kindness are beneficial for all people and help promote harmony in society.
