VISUAL APPEARANCE AND SKIN
First let's talk about the visual appearance and skin of this monster card. At the moment this card is available in two skins that is its Standard and Sketched Skin. But I like the Standard Skin the most which is more attractive. You can see the beautiful purple color in its background which makes this card look very attractive and also defines its death element.
Thraghun is a warrior type monster card that always looks very angry. His battle outfit is very beautiful and you can see beautiful fur behind him. His hair is very curly and he is holding weapons in both hands. In one hand he has a bow while in the other hand he has a poisonous dagger.
As mentioned he is a Double Striker so he attacks from a distance with his bow to damage the enemy and he attacks nearby enemy units with his poisonous dagger to continue dealing heavy damage.
He also has a special type of armor on his body that always provides protection and this fur is also used as part of his armor.
This is a 9 mana monster card which you can select in medium to high mana battles. This gives you flexibility because you can easily select this monster in these types of battles. However it is not very useful in low mana battles because its mana cost is high.
As mentioned this is a Double Striker so it has both Ranged and Melee attack qualities. If you position it correctly it can use both its Melee and Ranged attacks in the same round, dealing a total of 4 damage per round to the enemy.
Remember, positioning is very important for monsters with Double Strike. If you position the monster correctly you can get the best benefit from both of its attacks.
This monster card has very good armor of 5 power which protects its health. Considering its mana cost this is very good armor and can protect its health for at least three to four rounds.
On top of that it also has 8 Health which gives it good survivability. If we combine its Armor and Health it can easily survive for around four to five rounds against an enemy lineup.
This monster has 3 Speed which increases its attack speed and also helps it avoid enemy attacks.
At maximum level this monster has five special abilities which make this card extremely dangerous. These abilities work both offensively and defensively. Let's discuss these abilities in detail.
REACH
The first ability is Reach.
Reach means that you can use a Melee attack from the second position. This is one of its best abilities and one of its biggest advantages. You can use its Melee attack from the second position while also benefiting from its Ranged attack.
Therefore a monster with the Reach ability can stay in the second position and still use its Melee attack.
CRIPPLE
The second special ability is Cripple.
Whenever this monster makes a successful attack the Cripple ability is applied. Because of this, the Health of the unit that was attacked is reduced by 1.
It can continue receiving this extra effect after every successful attack. However, remember that this effect does not work if the enemy unit has the Immunity ability.
RETURN FIRE
The third ability is Return Fire.
With Return Fire, 50% of the damage is returned to the attacker when a Ranged attacker attacks this monster.
For example if an enemy Ranged unit attacks this monster and its attack is successful then 50% of that damage is returned to the enemy. The damage is rounded up.
if the enemy attacks with 5 attack then 3 damage is returned to that monster.
WEAKEN
The fourth special ability is Weaken.
This ability reduces the Health of all enemy units by 1 at the beginning of the battle.
This ability is useful not only for supporting your own team but also for weakening the enemy lineup and making the enemy team weaker.
POISON
The fifth and special ability is Poison.
Poison gives a 50% chance to apply Poison after every successful attack.
When a unit is affected by Poison it loses 2 Health at the beginning of every round. The Poison effect remains active until the end of the battle.
Considering all these abilities it is important to understand that the longer this monster survives in the battle, the longer you can benefit from its powerful abilities.
Therefore you should try your best to give this monster proper protection so it can survive for as long as possible.
BEST POSITION FOR THIS CARD
Now let's talk about the most important section that is the positioning of this monster which is extremely important in any battle.
If you position a monster correctly it can become a game changer. Because this monster has the Reach ability its best placement is the second position. This allows it to make full use of its Melee attack.
At the same time because it is not in the first position it can also continue using its Ranged attack.
You can also place it in the first position but then its Ranged attack will become useless.
Therefore it is better to place it in the second position so you can take full advantage of its Double Strike ability.
