Ruckus Rootpaw || No Weapons, No Attacks || But Still a Powerful Battlefield Guardian
Ruckus Rootpaw really wanted to join the Chaos Empire army but because of his short height, he could not get recruited into the army. After he was not selected he started going on adventures and travelling with treasure hunters and caravan guards.
He always helped his friends and put himself in danger to save their lives. One day he saw an injured dragon being targeted with a crossbow by a Conclave captain. Ruckus became very angry after seeing this and stood between them to save the dragon taking the attack upon himself.
Because of his bravery the dragon gifted him special armor made of stone. Now Ruckus travels with a very large shield and if you look carefully you will see a target painted on his belly which keeps challenging enemies. Although he does not have any weapon he can also turn things around him into weapons whenever needed.
Yes today I want to talk about the Ruckus Rootpaw monster card which is one of the excellent Gem cards. It also has a low mana cost along with very impressive powers and abilities.
SKIN AND APPEARANCE
First, let's talk about the visual appearance and skin of this monster card. This card is available in the market with its standard skin which is a very beautiful skin. Because it belongs to the Earth and Dragon elements you can see green and orange color lines in its background which make this card look even more attractive.
Rootpaw is a short height monster that is completely made of stone armor. Its body has small stones that show its actual armor. If you look at it, this short height monster does not have any weapon to use in battle. That is why it has no attack power.
But it is not necessary that a monster without attack power is useless in battle. Instead I believe there are some monsters that have no attack power but are still very dangerous monsters, and this is one of them.
This is a 4 mana monster card that provides you with the flexibility to select it in any battle. However the best option is to select it in low or medium mana battles so that you can choose it according to its mana cost and take full advantage of its powers and abilities.
As I mentioned it has no attack power so it does not have any melee or magic attack.
It has 7 armor which provides protection to its health. According to its mana cost this armor is very powerful and will help it survive until the end of the battle.
It has 9 health which defines its life. If we combine its health and armor it can easily survive until the end of the battle even without having any attack power.
It has 3 speed which will help it dodge or avoid enemy attacks.
At the maximum level it has five special abilities including Decoy, Weaken, Martyr, Shield Ward and Void Armor. These abilities help weaken the enemy lineup while also providing protection to its team through shields and armor.
Let's learn about these abilities in detail.
DEOCY
This is its first ability and its job is to attract enemy attacks towards itself.
It attracts attacks from enemy units that have the Sneak or Opportunity ability.
Normally enemy units with these abilities target weak monsters in the backline. But because this monster has the Decoy ability, those enemies will attack the monster with Decoy first while the backline monsters remain safe.
In this way it provides safety to allied units so that their weaker monsters do not receive any damage.
WEAKEN
Weaken is its second special ability. With this ability the health of all enemy units is reduced by one.
It becomes active only once in a battle reducing the health of every enemy unit by one. This helps make the enemy lineup weaker.
MARTYR
Martyr is its third special ability. When this monster gets defeated, the stats of its adjacent units increase by one.
Whether the units are on its left or right side, their stats will receive a +1 increase.
This ability shows that even after dying, this monster continues to support its team.
SHIELD WARD
Shield Ward is its fourth ability. At the beginning of the battle the unit standing in the front position receives a shield.
The frontline tank monster gets an extra shield so that it can absorb more damage and provide protection to its allied units.
VOID ARMOR
Void Armor is its fifth and special ability. With this ability magic damage hits the armor first and then reaches the health.
Normally magic damage directly hits health and bypasses armor. But because of Void Armor every magic attack will first destroy the armor and then hit the health.
BEST POSITION IN BATTLE
Now lets talk about the important positions for this monster card in battle which are very important.
If you select it in a low mana battle you can also use it as a frontline tank monster. However it is better to place it in the second position so that you can benefit from some of its abilities especially Shield Ward which provides a shield to the frontline monster.
If you select it in a medium mana battle, its best positions will again be the first, second or third position depending on the different rulesets.
In high mana battles try to place it in the third or fourth position so that it can survive longer in the battle and you can take full advantage of all five of its abilities...
PRICE AND RENTING
Now let's talk about the important section of this content which is price and renting.
Currently this card is available in the market from level 3 to maximum level.
At level 3 you can get it for around $5 to $11 but at level 10 it will cost you around $270 which is quite expensive.
The main reason behind its high price is its excellent powers and abilities.
However if you cannot afford to buy it, you can also rent it. Its rental price starts from 50 DEC and goes up to 300 DEC.
Which you can easily add it to your team and take full advantage of its excellent powers and abilities.
