In the Splinterlands market you will find many different cards. Your goal should always be to get the best possible card with the lowest mana cost and at a low price. Such cards are considered a golden opportunity because you can add them to your deck and use them in almost every type of battle.
You may have noticed that low mana cards in Splinterlands are often more expensive. The reason is that these cards are very versatile and can be selected in almost every battle. On the other hand some cards have a very high mana cost but are still cheap. The main reason is that they cannot be used in every battle because they take too much mana which is a major drawback.
Today I will talk about a monster card that is a very strong damage dealer. It is a ranged monster with excellent stats and abilities.
The name of this monster is Lava Launcher and it belongs to the Fire element. This card also comes in Black Variant and other special card types which makes it more expensive because of its unique design.
This monster has excellent powers and abilities. At the maximum level it has two special abilities which we will discuss.
First lets talk about its visual appearance. It looks like a monster riding on a battle tank, driving a vehicle surrounded by fire while firing powerful cannon shots. It looks as if it wants to deal maximum damage to enemy units.
Since it is a ranged attacker it has 4 ranged attack at the maximum level which is considered very strong. This means it can deal 4 damage to an enemy unit every round. If an enemy has 4 or less health it can destroy that unit with a single attack...
The best position for a ranged attacker is usually the backline so it can survive for a longer time.
The good thing is that this monster has 6 armor which protects its health.
Armor absorbs damage from melee and ranged attacks before the health is affected. It also has 6 health which gives it good survivability. With both armor and health combined, this monster can easily survive for three to four rounds while making full use of its ranged attack power.
It also has 3 speed which increases its attack speed and also gives it a better chance to avoid enemy attacks. Looking at its overall stats it can also be used as a strong secondary tank.
Now let's talk about its two special abilities at level 4 such as Close Range and Stun.
The Close Range ability means that a ranged monster can attack from any position including the front line.
Normally ranged monsters can only attack from the backline while melee monsters attack from the frontline.
But when a monster has the Close Range ability it can continue using its ranged attack even if it is placed in the first position.
As I mentioned earlier this monster has good armor and health so it can also be used as a tank or secondary tank. This ability becomes very useful because even while standing in the frontline, it continues attacking with its ranged damage.
The second special ability is Stun. When this monster hits a successful attack then there is a 50% chance that the target will be stunned...
A stunned enemy skips its next turn and cannot attack or retaliate during that round. In simple words whenever this monster successfully stuns an enemy that enemy loses its turn and cannot perform any action.
Now let's move to the most important part of this content which is the price and rental cost.
As I mentioned earlier this monster has two different versions. a normal version and a special variant. The normal version is available at a much lower price.
At the starting level it costs around $0.036 while a fully upgraded version can cost around $5.
If you want to buy the Black Variant version it will cost more than $10.
However if you cannot afford to buy this monster, you can simply rent it.
At the maximum level the rental cost is only about 1 DEC per day which is very affordable.
You can easily add it to your deck and take full advantage of its excellent powers and abilities.
