August 14, Inpendence Day, where the celebration of Pakistan’s independence is celebrated in every corner of Pakistan. There is light everywhere, feelings of happiness and a respectful feeling.
This is the day when we feel the peace of freedom, we get freedom from the slavery of others and this is the day when we understand the value of our country.
A person should understand that in the country where he lives, he can move around freely, he knows the laws there, he can eat all kinds of food, wear all kinds of clothes and do all kinds of activities.
But if the same person goes abroad, to another country then he has to be very careful. He cannot move around freely. There are some specific laws for him and he will not get the food and clothes that according to the culture and tradition are freely available to you in your own country.
Yes, today is August 14, Pakistan’s Independence Day when Pakistan separates from Britain and India and becomes an independent and sovereign country.
The meaning of this freedom is absolutely not that we should insult other countries. Rather we should value every country and every citizen should understand and learn to value and respect their own country.
Pakistan and India are neighboring countries and the good thing is that when Pakistan becomes independent on August 14 then one day later, India gains independence on August 15, 1947. These two countries are only one day apart in terms of their independence.
We are never enemies of India. We are well wishers of India. India is also our neighboring country and we value them. We should remove hatred and this day teaches us these things. We should learn to respect each other.
On August 14, different concerts and events are organized throughout Pakistan where at night there is lighting everywhere, fireworks, concerts and other emotional gatherings are organized.
In exactly the same way different programs have also been arranged in Quetta where national songs are sung, the military is represented and the sacrifices of this day are remembered so that every citizen, filled with this spirit, understands the value of this country.
Like every year in Quetta city, on August 13 that is as soon as it becomes 12 o’clock at night and August 14 begins, toward Koh-e-Murdar where the Polo Ground area is located and this is a military area, a very good concert takes place where thousands of people participate and express their loyalty to their country.
Different national songs are sung there and exactly at 12 o’clock, fireworks start. There are beautiful fireworks and the best thing is that you can see that on the top of the mountain, with lights, a map of Pakistan has also been made.
Pictures of some memorable personalities who have played an important role in the independence of Pakistan have also been displayed on the mountain in the form of lights.
It was the darkness of the night, so I tried to make a good video and also take some pictures. Maybe the pictures will not be very clear because it was nighttime and dark but still I have tried to present them to you in a good way.
That night the atmosphere of Quetta looked somewhat different. Towards Koh-e-Murdar the sky was shining with beautiful fireworks. Seeing this beautiful scene the feeling of Pakistan’s independence and love for this homeland became even fresher.
I also captured this memorable moment with my camera and I am sharing some pictures and video clips with you.
These fireworks continued for approximately fifteen to twenty minutes and the sound of these fireworks could be heard with a beautiful echo, creating a feeling of love for the country and patriotism.
These are very beautiful moments and I congratulate all Pakistanis on this Independence Day. And in advance I also congratulate my Indian brothers on their Independence Day tomorrow.
And we pray that all of humanity loves one another and lives together peacefully.
Take care, everyone...
