X embeds are not simple iframes. The actual code is:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">At dawn from the gateway to Mars, the launch of Starshipās second flight test <a href="https://t.co/ffKnsVKwG4">pic.twitter.com/ffKnsVKwG4</a></p>— SpaceX (@SpaceX) <a href="https://x.com/SpaceX/status/1732824684683784516?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">December 7, 2023</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.x.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
They don't use an iframe and also include a script in the code. That is not automatically usable on other platforms. We have ad-hoc code that parse the string and embed the post.
I created a quick "embed post" link that you can use in an iframe, but that will not magically be rendered on other platforms. Give it a try and let me know.
The link is simple, just add embed in front of the URL: https://embed.peakd.com/hive-163399/@asgarth/what-should-we-build-next-on-peakd
