PeakD has probably received funding support longer than most Hive frontends. One thing I’ve often wondered is whether a portion of that funding could have been consistently placed into HBD savings over time to gradually build long-term self-reliance.

Yes, we could have done something like this but it would have required a higher yearly proposal. And during the whole Jun 24 - Jun 25 period we operated at a loss because only one of our proposals was actually funded and we depleted a bunch of our "reserves".
