-Good morning! I said.
-Good morning beautiful! He said.
Am I beautiful? I have no idea how I look like, I have never seen myself.
-Describe what you see? I asked.
-You have a beautiful feature, green eyes, pink cheeks, small nose and ears. And also you have a gorgeous smile. He said.
Wow I said, thank you. If only I could see that too.
That happened years ago before I was born. All governments in the world removed the mirrors on earth. If anyone found with a mirror on their possessions, they would go to jail. I hear stories from my grandparents, how life was when there were mirrors. People were so concern with how they look, that lead to biggest crime rate in the world. Then now they even banned people taking their own pictures. Only photos are allowed anything other than human selfies. Phone companies designed their phone camera auto-lock if someone tries to take a picture of themselves.
And here we go, this mirror law seems to work. Now, there is more peace in the world and people interaction with each other improved.
When people do not see their own reflection, only idea of themselves comes from how they feel at that moment.
Sometimes I wake up with full of energy and feel so good about myself, I go around and talk to people then they all smile at me and compliment me for how beautiful I am. Because not seeing myself in the mirror eliminates the judgmental thoughts about my appearance. It is all about how I feel.
As nobody knows how they look like, people only see each other with the feelings they get from one another.
There is no comparison…
No judgement…
No jealousy …
Just what you feel about yourself makes how other person sees you…
Would you like to live in a world without mirrors?
Would you have a different opinion about yourself if you don't know how you look like?
