Firstly,who is a vegetarian?

Vegetarian are people who do not eat beef, pork, fish, animals at all but do eat eggs and other dairy products.

They are called lacto- ovo vegetarian ( Lacto is a Latin word for milk while ovo means egg..

Technically eggs are vegetarian since they are not animal flesh that is meat or tissues of animals.

Most vegetarian include eggs in their diet while still staying away from chicken, cow, fish etc.

However in some parts of the world particularly India eggs are considered as meats and vegetarian in India will not eat as it has to do with their religion Hindu.

Most vegetarian with Hindu background don't eat eggs as they considered it as meats.

So while vegetarian in the Western world eats eggs those in the Eastern world does not.

This implies that whether or not eggs is a vegetarian or non-vegetarian is dependent on a cultural agreement.

It's just like saying if cheese is vegetarian or non-vegetarian food.
