ย ย ย Well folks, I was hoping to publish this post on Wednesday, but that is life at the moment I guess. My family and I were hoping to visit the USA and spend our free time selling Cambodian textiles on the weekends, but my stepdad had a heart attack on the first day and now we find ourselves wondering how we'll ever return to our beloved home in the Cardamom Mountains. I have been ready to return to Cambodia for a month already, but my mother is unable to care for my stepfather on her own.
ย ย ย In addition to this, my stepdad has a very tough personality that causes most workers to quit after a few weeks. For this reason I find myself stuck as a full-time caregiver in addition to all the responsibilities I already had in Cambodia. I have also added taking the kids to and from school and doing all things for my wife because she can't get a moped license nor speak enough English to be independent here. I often find myself falling asleep in strange places and forgetting to give my stepdad his meds or take his blood pressure. I am doing my best currently just to hang onto sanity and keep ASEAN Hive alive. I thank you all for your patience and hope you take some time to support these undervalued posts.....

Even if I am far away from them, I am so grateful that I was able to celebrate with my family through video call. It truly warmed my heart seeing them gathered together to make my mother feel loved on her special day. โบ๏ธโค๏ธ My elder brother prepared a wonderful surprise for her. He went home very early in the morning. He brought home different kinds of food to cook, like fresh pork, some fish, spaghetti ingredients, and vegetables.

About me, I went to the new public market here to buy a kilo of lechon baboy (roasted pig) as my mother craved it so much. A kilo of lechon here costs 700 pesos or around 12$. My mother love it so much especially the skin that is crunchy. About me, I like barbecue more than lechon. Here, we can also buy 1/2 kilo and 1/4. When I was pregnant, I craved it so much but it expired after I gave birth.
@flordecar26(แดxแดแดสแดแด) Last Friday night was a blast. So here's the story goes. That early afternoon my messenger keep on ringing because of the messages I recieved from my friends. It's a group chat. One of my friends open up that we take our dinner at the "Pantalan". Since I'm still busy, because I'm still at work, I didn't reply yet to there conversations. I just wait my duty to finished.
