Herien is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgement: because as he is so are we in this world.There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear; because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect love. {1John 4:17-18}
Almost everything giving to us from God'"s kingdom has the innate ability to grow to maturity. This is no surprise because the whole kingdom was compared to a seed that grows to become a tree (Mark 4:30-32). Therefore, faith grows from one level to another (Romans 1:17) just as grace and peace also grow(Peter 1:2). However, today's focus is no the growth of love.
Love can also grow till it attains perfection. The perfection of love is extremely important because until love becomes fully mature/perfect in an individual, fear will always have little room to stay. Faith can resist/battle fear but the only absolute repellent that totally expels fear is perfect love.
The basic means of having our love perfected is by loving one another (1 John 4:12). The Bible says we should give and a greater measure will be given to us. As we show love in the least way to one another, God prunes to us bear more fruit of love(John 15:2). By consistently showing love in the little way that you can, God will increase your capacity to show so much more love till your love attains perfection.
