what's up Splinter Player around the world how are you doing? I want to share my battle using one of my own account that played in Gold League Format.And this time, i want to share that when you are missplacing or miss arrange you can missing the winning. In this battle especially in Little League ruleset. Slight different can make totally big different outcome. In my case i am using the wrong strategy that focusing on the sneak ability. Meanwhile the opponent countering my strategy this time. So lets check the battle and my strategy. But before that we need to know what the ruleset is. So lets check it out.
Okay since you guys know that the ruleset is Ferocity lets knowing this ruleset a little bit deeper.This ruleset description is
Only units and summoners with a mana cost of 4 or less may be used.
Okay basically this ruleset make both player can only using 4 or less manacost for monster and also summoner. So the choiches will be really less. And arranging in low manacost monster is really hard sometimes. Especially when in modern format with just 2 set only and depending with the RNG. And as you know the RNG is really suck to human player. So, in this battle slighty mistakes can be fatal. And i am learning that sneak meta can be defeated with the frontal meta in little league ruleset.
Strategy Phase
In this battle i am using sneak monster as my main core to attacking opponent from behind. And this meta is like kinda oldschool. Thats why i need to learn and adapt with the new meta nowdays. In the past using sneak monster like this can be pretty good and got easy win but now, i am losing the battle because opponent can read my strategy.
My main carry in this battle is Pelacor Bandit that having high speed and having flying ability too so if this monster need to face the sneak attacker too this monster having chance to dodge the attack. Also this monster have 4 melee damage that really awesome with just small mana. And when you faster you can defeated opponent faster too right. Thats why i using this monster for both carry and backline tanker.
For the backup sneak attacker i am using Uraeus that having pretty good ability that is Poison ability, this ability can have chance to gives opponent poison status if got hit by this monster. Also if the opponent having armor for the backline with double sneak i think is pretty good because the repair support monster cannot keep the pace. Even though this monster have just only 3 melee damage but when this monster gives poison status it will be doomed for the opponent backline.
For my tank backline i am using Merdhampir as my shield from backline. This monster can adding max health using life leech combined with cripple ability.So, even though the opponent having armor this monster life leech will still active and can drain opponent Health into itself. Also this monster having snare ability that can make any flying monster going to be grounded. And this time i am pretty sure that opponent bringing Pelacor Bandit too. Thats why i am using this monster. And when this monster having enough draining opponent health this monster can also be a good tanker too.
For the support i am choosing Angelic Mandarin just in case if opponent using the same strategy as mine that focused on the backline using sneak ability. This monster can helping by healing the backline using triage ability. And when combined with my Merdhampir that can stealing health it will be a great fort for my backline.
Battlephase
Okay no wonder i am losing this battle. I am encountered with player from Splinterforge.io. I am really tired suspecting opponent that using cheat or helper or something like that. And hell yeah i lost so many times to opponent with same name and from same guild. And they are really good for guessing what i want to use. Maybe 80% i am losing to same name opponent. And yeah this one is one of them. Often i am lose due to RNG though.
So, without further ado lets check the ruleset this time.
And in this battle as you can see the picture above, having 3 ruleset. The first ruleset is Counterspell that means all monster will having magic reflect ability. So, we need to really careful not bringing any magic monster especially in low mana battle or we will lose the monster that using magic type attack due the magic reflect. Especially when opponent bringing amplify ability. The second ruleset is Little League as i mentioned above this ruleset make both player can only using 4 or less manacost into battlefield included summoner. And the last but not least is Tis But Scratches that means all monster will having cripple ability that can reduce maximum health of monster that got hit. Usually this ability is really good when combined with magic type attack. But, this time when the ruleset is counterspell it will be very dangerous to using magic type attack. The manacap that can be used in this battle is 34 which is really useless because the maximum mana that can be used in little league is just 28 only if we are using all 4 manacost. The element that can be used in this battle is Fire, Water, and Death element. I think when comes with Little League ruleset the best element that can be used is only Water element. Since in the chaos edition many water element that having low manacost have really good ability and status. Thats why this time i am using water element combined with Kelya Frendul as summoner that can support with additional Shield and speed.

Looking on opponent line up, this opponent using monster that focusing on attacking my frontline only. I dont know that is just coincedence or this opponent using helper that can read the strategy or this opponent really can read the future or maybe this opponent knowing that many player will using sneak as core for little league ruleset, i dont know. But, i know that i fucked up when all monster attacking my frontline because i am not bringing any support that can supporting my frontline tanker.
Okay the summary for this battle is my sneak monster cannot break opponent backline due the support from angelic mandarin. And the Kulu Swimhunter make my backline attacker cannot breakthrough. Especially opponent Merdhampir having chance to grow it maximum health through life leech ability. And for frontline my Cruel Sethropod and Tide Biter cannot break opponent frontline. And as you know that human player cannot be friended to RNG, this time yeah opponent Tide Biter always attacking first even having the same speed with my Tide Biter. I dont know why but that happened. And if you reading all my content, many RNG is like that. This game RNG is so fucked up. Maybe this game just only for bots in the end. with just paying some for renting bot and played idle game.Since the update from past year, no update that really helping player below only bots and bots owner or whale that having advantage. The player with small capacity like me did not get any benefits from this game. And back to the game. After my Cruel Sethropod defeated. In no time my Tide Biter got defeated too my Team cannot handle anymore. The flying ability not function at all the opponent attack never miss attacking my Pelacor Bandit and yeah my backline stabber cannot break opponent Merdhampir with Angelic Mandarin Support. And meanwhile my Angelic Mandarin and backline tanker is really useless. If only i change my Angelic Mandari with Merdaali Guardian maybe the outcome will be different.

Conclution
Considered this time i am encountered with human. I know that this backline Stabber meta is out to date. Thats why i am losing this battle. Maybe in the future when comes the battle with low mana especially when encountered with Little league ruleset again. Maybe i will make my strategy too all out damaging in front with double support. Hoping that the RNG will be friendly to me like this opponent, if only my Tide Biter always attacking first maybe the outcome will be different too. Or the flying ability can active it will be different outcome too. But yeah i am getting used by RNG cheat like that. It quiet boring looking the bad RNG all the time. Thats why i am just skipped the battle from the past year. Many battle that i seen is just lost due the RNG battle. That really boring and make the mood broken. Many human player feels the same too.And i think dev reading that complaint too. But yeah, nothing happened. The devs just shut both the eyes and ears. Not listening Not looking just boosting the bot owner. Especially they said that Modern is free from bot and Cheat. In fact, there is many cheater and bot wandering around in modern and there is no prove that devs shutting down the cheater or botter.
