Today i am taking break from jogging and work out. But , i still doing some activities today. I am going to Pasar Atum mall. But it is not really full mall. I think it is like half old traditional market combined with modern mall
This is the preview in front of the Pasar Atum mall. See? It is like old traditional market instead mall right?
But lets going inside and look what inside
After i am parking my motorcycle me and my wife entering the side of the old traditional market and take a look at some stand
This mall is like divided by two generation. And from my parking area it is old generation we called old pasar atum area. In this place the arrangement of the stand is like old traditional market where many people bargaining in every stand.
And you can see how old the building from this picture right?
Yeah in old generation area the building is like very old and look not maintened well.
Before pandemic outbreak this mall and old market is super busy especially in weekend days but. After coronavirus outbreak this place more quite empty. Many stand going bankrupt and cannot continue their business.
It is very strange to look empty like that. I remember the last time i came here before the pandemic is very crowded and the situation is more like literally market where people pass over and over again.
But from this picture you can see the effect of the pandemic. It is literally quiet.
After looking and walking around we decided to eat something but before that we need some cash. In old generation area it is very rare the stand using modern payment method. Usually they want just cash. Thats why we need to go to ATM and get some cash after that we are going to food stand
This food stand is our favorite. Me and my wife very love this food when come in here. It is noodle soup with some gingering gyoza. This is very good noodle soup
After waiting in line,me and my wife can sit and get the menu. This food stand is super crowded. Before pandemic this palce is more crowded than in the picture and often we need to line up 15-30 minutes to get a chair and table.
And this is our lunch today. Itadakimasu..
This meal is very very yummy. After me and my wife got full. We continue to walking around and shopping some food to take away home.
Yeah we walking around like a dating person again, and looking some household item but not buying them. Just browsing to satisfied our eyes and refresh our souls.
No need to wait we are both thirsty and need some refresh drink. For your information we lived in Surabaya city one of the hottest city in java island.
And while waiting the line i took some pictures. You know why this area is so blue?
Because of this. They using blue roof or something like that so this area is very blue. thats weird right?
So after we buy drink we decided to giung up and as you can see the picture above. The scenery is very different. We entering mall zone. That new modern mall. It is cool right. Half of the building is old traditional market and half of the building is new modern mall.
Like most others malls the shape and the arrangement is still looks the same. No different. So we decided to walking around and looking and entering every interesting stand.
From here i am not taking any picture because i wont missing my time fpr dating my wife again.so i save my phone and accompany my wife.
And the last one. Before we going home. We deciced to bring some snacks. This is the second crowded stand. Super crowded and need to queue around 15 minutes to get some snacks. But the tastes is worth the wait.
