Most of you guys know about this but still, let me tell you briefly about the Reward Curve change that happened in this latest HardFork. In this Hardfork the Reward Curve which determines the Reward Pool or should I say our Vote Value changed slightly. Now it has kind of an exponential growth rather than Linear.
So what does it mean for us?
It means if your Vote value was said 1 USD before HF21 now it is around 0.76 USD - 1.1 USD (Approximately). Yes, your Vote Value will vary now depending upon the total reward you accumulate on a Single Post.
Theoretically speaking if your Post has a Payout of over 20 STEEM which is roughly around 8 USD (Half goes off to Curation) then you get the maximum out of your own SteemPower and the same goes for all the other people that voted on your Post.
But the problem is not everybody gets a total Upvote of 8 USD on their Posts unless they use Bid-Bots
So now I am on the phase of Experimenting the perfect amount of STU that will give you the maximum Rewards out of the new Reward Curve without abusing the Bid-Bots. For example, I do Steem Basic Share Giveaway's which I feel is nice but I don't think that Post is worth 8 USD so I won't be using Bid-Bots on them but a Post like this one which I spent a lot of time writing, I will definitely use some Bid-Bots over it but only a few STEEM.
I believe A person who writes a Post never knows the worth of their Post, but he/she definitely knows what the Post isn't worth. What I am trying to say is don't use Bid-Bots on a Post with a couple of Pictures.

Ok, I wandered off-topic for a while so let me get back to my Experiment. As I said above I want to find the perfect balance where I don't abuse Bid-Bots but promote my Content so that I get favored by the Reward Curve.
Part 1 of Experiment
Yesterday I wrote My Feelings after HF21 and I used 10 STEEM/1.6 USD to promote this Post of mine and I got some nice results. It definitely seems that the closer we get to the 8 USD mark the better is the Reward Curve for us as the Vote Values obviously increased a lot compared to Posts where I have only 1-2 USD payouts.
Now in this Second half, I will be using only 7 STEEM/1.2 USD to promote this Post and check the results of it. I am sure that the Rewards will decrease but I want to check how much the Reward decreases. I hope my experiments are all done by the end of this week as I need to be somewhere else after this Week.
