What are Crypto Kitties?

CryptoKitties is one of the world’s first games to be built on blockchain technology. Basically in this Game you Buy Kittens by Ethereum and Breed them to sell them at a Higher Price Later.

The unique feature in this is the scope of Breeding them which is Unlike any Game we have ever encountered.

For Example you own two different types of Kittens one with Brown Skin and the other with Purple Skin with Stripes. You can breed them to give birth to an entirely Different Kitty.

Now once you have successfully Bred a Kitty you can either keep it or Sell it to anyone else. The Bids in the Marketplace were crazy I saw a lowest of 0.005 ETH to a highest of 10000 ETH Asking amount. And to my surprise people are buying it.

So where does this leave the Ethereum Network?

These Cartoon kittens are having a big impact on the Ethereum Network. Collectors of these digital Kitties are clogging up the ethereum network, delaying transactions, and causing a pile-up of unprocessed transactions. Some transactions are even taking Days to go through.

The Stats are simply crazy. When Ethereum went through the Byzantium Fork the Transaction Queue came to almost a screeching Halt but now the transaction queues are almost 30000. That's a lot for Ethereum network.

We can only hope to see Ethereum come over this Issue. Let's see what the Future Holds.
