I have been a user of CRED for over 2 years and I have to say that I love this App for all it does. Yes, I also have a couple of things that I don't like but that doesn't mean the entire App is bad as it does way too many things good than it does terrible so yeah a NET positive for me. They have Credit Card Trackers, Credit Card Bill Payments, Utility Bill Payments, Curated Shops, and many more things that make CRED so much better for me. But I would be lying if I said that everything is fantastic in the App as some things are not that great but that is a topic to be touched on in some other posts.
Today I am going to talk about the latest update on the CRED App which is their Tap to Pay Feature which enables their users to tap and pay with their Credit Cards via their Smartphones. This sounds super interesting as now users of CRED don't need to carry their Credit Cards to do a transaction and on the surface that looks very very cool but I am not a huge fan of this one as the ease at which the Credit Cards were made to incorporate that Technology was just a little too much easy as there was no OTP sent to our Smartphones to enable the feature as we just click on the tab and it enables the feature. Seems to me that the Security is a little too much lax and that is why I won't say that this is an awesome feature, for now, I will be still carrying my Credit Cards to do my Normal Transactions.
