Having been away from home for 10 days I've played very little and it feels more and more that the game is getting away from me.
I haven't gotten to grips with the original cards let alone the reward cards and now new ones are going to be added every day for 20 days.
Maybe the best I can do is play the occasional daily quest and earn as many cards as I can hoping they will become valuable in the future.
More and more people are posting about their wins in tournaments which seems to be where the future lies and I don't feel anywhere near able to play in one.
The hauls from the few daily quests I managed to complete (there's a lot of mismatching against bots going on again) have been very disappointing. I've only one won 1 epic card and all the rest are commons apart from a few rares.
This is one of the better wins I had when I was able to complete quests every day.

This post is part of a series documenting my journey with the game of Steem Monsters.
I have called it 'Tales From The Steem Monsters Nursery' since, having no previous knowledge/experience of such things it feels like I'm a toddler, back at nursery school. Except I have a lot more thinking about how hard it is to understand than a toddler ever would! 馃槀
