Tuesday is usually the day I meet with a friend and work in a café. Since we can no longer do this due to lockdown we decided we'd go for a walk instead.
I booked a slot for us at a National Trust property which turned out to be unnecessary since entry to the woods is now via the car park rather than the property itself.
If I'd known this way the case I would have visited many times this year as the booking system didn't really work for us. We're more spontaneous visitors. Anyway. From now on I at least know we can go and have a walk without needing to book.
Add you can see from the photograph the woods are particularly beautiful at this time of year.
We both thoroughly enjoyed it.
