When someone pretends to be a person that doesn't exist. So making a bunch of fake accounts with fake introduction posts is a form of catfishing. (i.e the dust accounts)

Another example is when you get into chats with people online and they describe themselves one way but when you meet in person - if you ever do they turn out to be...well lets just say they have a face only a mother could love.
Expection vs reality

I think people who leave fake reviews are catfishers too.

Basically pretending to be a real person when you aren't that person.

I have a really ugly one that stalks me all the time.
