This was a boat image that I colored in Happy Color and thought it would fit nicely with some poetry I wrote. This piece of poetry is quite old so I tweaked and updated it to my current style.
You left a long time
ago on that ship
I’ve been waiting
at this port for
just as long my love..
I wish you would
come back but
I can see now
I was but a
fool and you
played me...
My heart still
continues to yearn
for your love
but in my mind
I know you are
gone...
Our love was
destined to be
fleeting...
I left the port
but know this I
never abandoned you...
You choose to
leave me...
I thought you were
my one and only
but this wasn't true...
For I have found
someone who is
better than you...
