Trees without leaves are sleeping in the winter rest.

This photo was made in the forest on the territory of Poland before the second world view. I restored and colourized it.
In the past the weather was very different in the Eastern Europe.
I remember that my grandfather Stefan told me that there were deep snows and true frost in the winter time. Sometimes snows were real handicaps for traveling.
Now everything has changed. Here winters are often warm and snow does not remain for a long time after its fall.
This modern type of weather is not very good for conifer trees.
Frost kills pests that harm conifers.
In the place where I am living many fir trees became dried
. Climate change destroys really biodiversity of our planet. It has also negative influence on some animals. Also Because of climate change bears (especially polar bears) can be extinct in the future.
People should think what is happening with life in our planet.

Śnieg w lesie.
Drzewa bez liści śpią w spoczynku zimowym.
Zielone choinki cieszą się mroźną pogodą.
To zdjęcie zostało zrobione w lesie w Polsce przed II wojną światową. Odrestaurowałem go i pomalowałem.
W przeszłości pogoda w Europie Wschodniej była zupełnie inna.
Pamiętam, jak dziadek Stefan mówił, że zimą był głęboki śnieg i prawdziwy mróz. Czasami śnieg był naprawdę przeszkodą w podróży.
Teraz wszystko się zmieniło. Zimy są tu często ciepłe, a śnieg nie utrzymuje się długo po tym, jak spadnie.
Ten nowoczesny typ pogody nie sprzyja wzrostowi drzew iglastych.
Mróz zabija szkodniki, które uszkadzają drzewa iglaste.
W miejscu, w którym mieszkam, wyschło wiele jodeł
. Zmiany klimatyczne naprawdę niszczą bioróżnorodność naszej planety. Ma też negatywny wpływ na niektóre zwierzęta. Również z powodu zmian klimatycznych niedźwiedzie (zwłaszcza polarne) mogą w przyszłości wyginąć.
Myślę, że ludzie muszą pomyśleć o jakości przyszłego życia na naszej planecie.
