Thank you @shanibeer, yeah sucks but I feel that the kid who recked the boat enjoyed himself doing so, so I found peace with that, the mouse had eaten rat killer a neighbor had put down so that sucked as it was a friendly little fellow, a bit like the mouse in the green mile, and I have a new allotment now which in all fairness is better and bigger, so it has all worked out for the best really.:D
