Hi @springworth, I find it hard to believe how much plastic we use, but I was watching a news program on how some plastics can be turned back to oil and that would benefit the plant instead of it going to landfill.
My family and I try to be as plastic-free as possible but it is so hard, everything you look at has some sort of plastic to it, from the telly to my laptop.
After watching that article, we started recycling our plastic better than we were doing, everything goes in a recycling bin outside our house unless we can use it for something else.
I made some drip feed watering systems from old plastic bottles, and I have even made a fairy house from the pop bottles too.
I think that if it wasn't thrown in our faces and we the choice to use plastic or something else we would use something else.
