My two years on steemit came and went on the 7 th of August, I had jotted in word things I wanted to say on my 2nd birthday.
I have decided that it is better said late than never and tonight I wanted to share some stuff with you.
On the 7 th of August I was welcomed into the Blockchain Steem, it had took weeks and weeks to finally be verified but I was so happy.
Once I was on here I didn't know where to start, I thought it was a good idea to do an introduce me post but really I don't think it was what I wanted to tell everyone about myself.
My real name is Andy, and I have 3 amazing children and loving wife, these people are my world and have gone through thick and thin with me.
I have been ill for a number of years, I am not going to bore you with my illnesses but I have struggled, I have found that reading posts her on steemit has helped me find more about myself.
I am not one to hide behind a keyboard but I don't feel comfortable in-front of a camera either, this is probably a self confidence thing but still I hate looking at myself.
I love to do things arty, I try and encourage my kids to do the same as they have picked a lot up from what I show them and to me to see them come on leaps and bounds is everything.
Some days I don't feel like getting out of bed, some days I don't want to live and some days I find my self on top of the world with nothing to loose.
I come to steemit 5 out of 7 days to right about what I have done and some times I find the words to write to express myself as I have wanted too.
While been on steemit I have achieved so much and met some brilliant people, I have attended meet ups and even promo'd steem too.
One of my first experiences of steem was when I met @starkers in Sheffield to promote it to the students and we got kicked of the grounds of the uni we were at. It was a great day and I knew just from meeting starkers and
@tumutanzi that steem was a place I liked to be.
Something else that I achieved was ranking in a reputation 60, I never thought that it would come, when I got to 60 I was well happy with myself.
I have always grown my steem power, and if I had the money I would buy a bigger stake in the pie, but been a little bit broke makes it harder to do and I rely on up-votes to achieve power.
I thought with art I had reached my niche, but I have found that gardening and diy seems to be more of my calling and you lovely people seem to like me doing this more than art work.
That is fine with me as it keep me going and inspires me to carry on with what I have found that I love too do.
I am looking to the future, I have a goal set in mind where I think you will all find it interesting and that is when I open my takeaway with a friend, at the moment it is on hold for unseen circumstances but hay ho what can you do about it.
When we do finally get a place we have talked about having a live feed running from the takeaway for people to watch their food been made, we have also talked about having cryptocurrency as a payment gateway so there is a lot to watch out for.
With everything that has happened so far it looks like it will be a long journey to the point of opening but this is something that we are currently working on.
Thank you's
I wanted to say a massive thank you to all of you who have read and up-voted my work, it means the world to me that you do, I wish I could read every post that is on here but I find it hard to keep up.
Thanks also to @daveks for supporting me, on and off the blockchain, it was nice to have a chat via email I know it has been a while since we last did but it was still great to talk to someone.
@pennsif your a great dude, I do like your shows on discord, this is something that I think should be more popular and if you haven't listened in jump on to discord and give it ago.
@smasssh man oh man, you make me chuckle, you are like a one man show, love reading your posts, i always keep a look out for your stuff, it is well worth looking at.
There are so many people that I have got on with on here and there is only so much space that I get to write these posts.
cheers to all for your support and here is to another year on steem.
