Today, I’m sharing some of my old photos I made at Butterfly World.
These parrots live at the “Butterfly World”.
It’s a place where people can come and see different kinds of butterflies, other insects like scorpions and spiders.
They also have some birds, including few kinds of parrots.
Rainbow lorikeet is the most colorful species of parrot in Australia. They feed mainly on fruit and nectar. There are 8 more species of lorikeet found in Australia.
These parrots were very curious, they liked one of the visitors running shoes, so they climbed on his shoes.
The rainbow lorikeet is a medium-sized parrot, with the length ranging from 25 to 30 cm (10 to 12 in), including the tail. The weight varies from 75 to 157 g.
