When I first saw this tree I was stunned by the beauty and unusual shape of the flowers. So far I’ve seen red and mix of red and yellow flowers, I’m sure there more other kinds of this tree, that I haven’t seen yet.

Callistemon or bottlebrush have cylindrical brush like flowers resembling a traditional bottle brush.

They are mostly found in Australia, they grow in a very moist area. Some species are used in ornamental landscaping elsewhere in the world.

The name Callistemon comes from the combination of two Greek words of 'callis' meaning beauty and 'stemon' meaning stamen, referring to the flowers of the plant.
