Guide for Artworks and Curations

Hello, artists! How's your day going? We realized that currently, there are many artworks submitted without clarity and full critiques. For e.g., there are curations that lack source, artist name, and curator's critiques--we can do better! So we have devised a set of posting guidelines for contest, creation, and curation. Please read the guidelines below carefully to enhance your voting chance!

• Artisteem platform submission categories are: contest, creation, and curation.
• Titles must be in English. Link here 🔗
  

  1. Contest

• Submissions must be your own artwork.
  • 1.1. Write [CO] in the beginning of your title
  • 1.2. (Continued) Artwork name (Artisteem, contest/creation/curation and other repeated words should be removed)
    • 1.2.1 E.g.: [CO] Phoenix
  • 1.3. Background of the artwork and work process

Contest Example:

Translation: "I thought the shadow of this magnet looked like a fierce bird...omitted(process)
I drew some fancy wings and made the head look like a phoenix...omitted(background)"

• How to participate in a contest
  
• At the homepage, click a contest you want to enter.
  
• Read the description with the detail link carefully and click "Participate" on the bottom.
  

  2. Creation

• Submissions must be your own artwork.
  • 2.1. Write [CR] in the beginning of your title
  • 2.2. (Continued) Artwork name (Artisteem, contest/creation/curation and other repeated words should be removed)
    • 2.2.1 E.g.: [CR] Cosmos in a Korean autumn field
  • 2.3. Background of the artwork and work process

Creation Example:

Translation: "by @raah (Artist's name)
100cm watercolor on paper, video link "How to draw" (process)
I have painted sky and flowers it is a common cosmos in Korean autumn field.(background)"

3. Curation

• You must get permission of the original artist where needed and check CC 0 and other copyright restrictions before submitting your curation.
• You must clearly state the artist's name.
• Along with the name or the artist's alias, you can add details such as their nationality, their focus area, and popular social media accounts you want to share.
• If you want to adopt text or content from other blogs or websites, please quote them properly.
• What do you think about the work? Write a detailed critique as if you are a curator or a reporter.

Translation: "Leandro Erlich(Artist's name)
Image, description, and source: Title: Swimming Pool, 1999

Description: A swimming pool is divided into two spaces and there are kids watching people standing submerged inside the pool, which makes the audience wonder about their story....omitted...critique: It's interesting how the photographer took pictures of a swimming pool--which I love--from bird's eye view and there are people standing inside the pool.(critique)"

• How to upload a creation or curation
  
• At the homepage, click either your profile or the upload icon on the right.
  
• At My Page, upload your artwork, description, tags, and finally make sure there is no unauthorized use of artwork and then click Upload.

안녕하세요, 아티스티미언 여러분 하루 잘 보내고 계신가요? 현재 포스팅되는 작품들의 구분이 모호하고 감상평 또한 부족한 게 안타깝습니다. 예를 들어 큐레이션의 경우 출처, 작가명, 작품 소개글 등이 미흡한 점이 많은 것이 사실입니다. 이번 가이드은 콘테스트, 일반창작, 큐레이션에 대한 내용입니다. 아래 사항을 잘 읽어보시고 포스팅 보팅을 더 많이 받을 수 있는 기회를 가지시기 바랍니다.

• Artisteem 플랫폼 출품은 콘테스트, 일반창작, 큐레이션으로 구분됩니다.

• 타이틀은 영문으로 기재바랍니다. 참조링크 🔗
  

  1. 콘테스트

• 콘테스트 출품작은 반드시 자신의 창작품이여야 합니다.

  • 1.1. 제목앞에 [CO] 기재
  • 1.2. (이어서) 작품명 (Artisteem, 콘테스트/개인창작/큐레이션 등 중복된 내용 제외)
    • 1.2.1 예시: [CO] Phoenix
  • 1.3. 창작배경 및 창작과정
    콘테스트 예시:
    

  "벽에 붙이는 자석의 살짝 비춰진 그림자 모습이 화가난 새처럼 보여서...생략(창작배경)
  화려한 날개로 덧칠하고 다시 불사조 머리를 태어나게 하려고...생략(창작과정)"

• 콘테스트 참가하는 방법
  

• 아티스팀 홈페이지 좌측에서 콘테스트를 선택한다.
  

• 내용과 링크를 자세히 읽은 후 하단에 "참가하기" 버튼을 누른다.

2. 일반창작

• 일반창작 출품작은 반드시 자신의 창작품이여야 합니다.
  • 2.1. 제목앞에 [CR] 기재
  • 2.2. (이어서) 작품명 (Artisteem, 콘테스트/개인창작/큐레이션 등 중복된 내용 제외)

3. 큐레이션

• 작가의 동의를 꼭 받으시고, 저작권에 위배되지 않는 CC O 등 제한을 체크하시고 출품하시기 바랍니다.
• 반드시 작품에 창작자를 명확하게 표기해 주세요!
• 아티스티미언들과 함께 나누고 싶은 작품의 아티스트의 이름(혹은 활동명), 국적, 활동분야, 인기 계정을 표기해 주세요.
• 블로그 등 타 웹사이트에서 내용을 퍼오시려면 "퍼온 내용" 양식을 이용해 인용하시기 바랍니다.
• 내가 느끼는 작품에 대한 감상평을 적어주세요!
  • 3.1. 제목앞에 [CU] 기재
  • 3.2. (이어서) 작품명 (Artisteem, 콘테스트/개인창작/큐레이션 등 중복된 내용 제외)

• 일반창작과 큐레이션 올리기
  
• 홈페이지 우측에서 프로파일이나 업로드 아이콘 둘 중 하나를 클릭한다.
  
• 마이페이지에서 작품을 올리고 설명글, 태그, 그리고 저작권에 위배되는 사항은 없는지 꼼꼼히 살핀 후 하단 버튼을 눌러 출품한다.
