I used to respect Lancet and took for granted that they honestly vetted all articles and papers. Unfortunately, since they allowed Big Pharma to buy influence, they have gone downhill and are even sometimes downright dishonest. It sounds like this is the case again.

I hope another Lancet comes into existence with the old love for science and strict rules for honest papers.
