I keep forgetting the word that exists for them, but, in line with what you say, there is a word for spirits which come into existence because of writers (authors) concentrating so hard and long on a specific character of theirs.

In the Village, there is a small hope, narrow with the home spread over 3 floors. When a couple bought it, they were near the entrance when they saw a man walk down the stairs. He was wearing a trenchcoat and a hat. When he got to the ground floor he fded away. They saw him many times and it excited them, so they researched the history of the house to find out who had died there. Nobody had.

The explanation turned out to be that before them a writer had lived there who had successfully created a detective character and had written over 40 books about him. His description of the detective was exactly what the couple were seeing.

Did a google...and I think the word is tulpa.

In this case, it was of a character written of over 30 years....in other words, his formation was due to a persistent mental impression left on the enironment.
