If he has stopped posting and/or coming to Steemit, it is our loss. I have met a number of good writers, but also ordinary people who are good and helpful, who have given up and moved on - and it is a pity.

Steemit should have had a system where, if an account has not posted for a month and they receive a comment or are mentioned, an email should be sent to them informing them of the communication...perhaps whetting their curiosity.
