Would it not lovely knowing that 316 votes means there were/are 316 readers? Anybody remember more than a year ago, there used to be a counter showing how many opened the post?

Up to now, Clare sounds like my kind of girl. I love big houses with a history. I sometimes see some being sold for a fraction of their value...but I would not have the money to maintain such a home - and I cannot agree to my being the one who destroys such a house.

One I really liked, it was because nobody wanted it...because it has a ghost. I do not like grinning, clacking skulls and zombie faces, but ghosts, they seem more genteel somehow.

I hope I make a good ghost someday.
