I agree with you - parenthood is as much relationship as biology

Actually, you had already made that point in the story. I think what I was trying to say is that I would feel that if I wanted a paternity test, I would feel as if I am betraying my daughter - that is, I would give her the doubt that maybe, if the test is negative, I would love her less. I would not want that. I would want her to know that whatever our blood ties, I love her - period.

The question is...what if she wants the test? How would I then feel?
