During the reading of the previous post, I thought of how different I am, that I would not even consider the paternity test, since for me what matters is that I love her as a daughter - and whether she is or is not, does not matter.
Then I read this part of their story and I realised that maybe it would matter - if it turned out her being my daughter is confirmed. But still, I would feel that in a way I have betrayed the love we share, as father and daughter, by doing the test.
I don't know if I made sense....but then I often do not, so that is okay.
PS: Being Canadian, do you mostly write 'English' English, or American? I thought it ws the former, but then I saw you write color...so I got confused. I tend to want things well-defined, even though I know that life is not like that.
