I wondered, what if there is an alternate universe/reality, where all have the gift of holding a multitude of stories like this one, but those few who are gifted and can access/contact/feel and share them, they are pitied and considered cursed. It is a well known fact in their universe, that those who are so gifted, are never happy, even if their own lives are good.

Then...I wondered, just how different is that alternate reality to ours?

Perhaps the truth can only be seen by those so gifted - if so, it must mean that there is no one truth.

Perhaps those who are cursed are the ones who can live those stories, but have not the gift with words and thus their need to share is choked.
