I thought you (the younger generation) do not believe in happy endings :)

I'm glad you did, for I feel that life causes us enough griefs, and stories should only allow suffering if there is a purpose to it, like helping the person grow - or, if no obvious purpose, it should help the reader grow.

At least I am, now, no longer stuck with the undealt with ending to Araby and have an image to enjoy, thanks to your happy couple. Does it make me sound immature?
