I was born in Nairobi and grew up in East Africa. When the three countries were given independence, not one of them said, 'you have lived here 3 generations, so you may consider this your country'. They all told us to get out.

But now, even first generation in the UK think they have the right to stay forever - and to impose their own ways, customs, traditions on the original people of the UK.

Seeing as to how most of them came with a work permit or as refugees (which means none of them had permanent right of abode) they all think they have the right to make demands now.

PS: I am not British, I am from Cyprus and that is the one place I know of where the British remained welcome and were given permits to stay...but even there, the permits were never permanent.

Sorry if I sound negative, but I do not subscribe to the pc attitudes - or to those of the UN (who signed two Agendas for depopulating the world, so I do not consider them our friends or protectors).
