So, according to your logic, all astronauts must have returned to Earth with their brains turned to jelly. Since when has the sound outside your car equalled inside, if all your windows are closed? You don't think a spaceship would have even more effective sound-proofing?

Second point:

just add up the value of all your equipment...so if the two lawnmowers and the weed eater would cost $3,000 then the company would be worth (about) $3,000.

...if that is how you think it works, I suggest you never try to start your own business, or else you will wake up to a rude shock.

As per your example, you would be lucky to get $600 to 800 for your secondhand equipment, if your maintenance was good.

The value of a business has nothing (or very little) to do with hard assets. It has to do with the number of customers (repeat business) you have and what profits are projected...

If your nose was not so busy sniffing rats, you might have noticed that his value shot up not long after President Trump announced another military branch, the Space arm. For that, they need spaceships.

Maybe Elon Mus was not so stupid after all when he took a car to space...apart from the priceless pr, it proved to the new military branch that he has what they want/need.
