A pleasure.

I post my stories plus a long novel of 13 books. The novels took up 14 hours a day, every single day, for nearly 18 years.

I am placing them on Steemit as I want the books to be on the blockchain, just in case someone here and there finds and wants to read them.

AS i got involved with Steemit, Rep and SP started to become symbols of success or failure.

Then, with the last HF, dozens of new accounts were opened, to be used only for one thing: to flag everyone. It costs 3Steem and some steem is delegated and they never post or make comments, thus stopping anyone from flagging them. They have hurt and angered many posters, not just me.

At first I was angry and used the Decline Payment button. As I calmed down, I realised I am now concentrating on my stories and getting far more pleasure out of steemit, even from the odd new to me poster I comment on and help with my tiny vote.

However, what motivated me to lose interest in the money and Rep side is still important to me. I no longer block my posts, but I set the rewards to be sent to another poster who has done a lot to make steemit a wonderful place - but he needs some financial support also.

I do not agree that these mini 'fake' accounts should be allowed to flag regular posters who have contributed to making this platform what it is. I can, under duress, accept that my peers have the right to flag me, but not these scammers. I find it insulting.
