Duribng the 1980s, an acquaintance I'd recently met admitted to me he is suffering from TB. As he was from Australia and we were in Greece, he could not afford to go back home or to undertake treatment in Greece (he was a freelance journalist).

Through family friends, I arranged for him to be admitted at a TB clinic and to recieve all his treatment for free.

When I told him, he swore at me, tried to find hurtful things to say and then disappeared from my life.

The doctor who had offered, told me that it is a common problem with TB sufferers; as they weaken, they do not want treatment, they prefer to die.

So, if this happens to someone you care about, do not let them do as they wish - if you must, get a court order to place them in a clinic.

As for what caused the resurgence of TB? Seeing as to how many other diseases are appearing from the invading populations, I doubt there is any question as to who the responsibility lies with - no, not with the locusts, but with those who brought them, like Merkel and May.
