After liberating all four hostages from Whitetails Visiting Center, Eli Parmer told me the peggies took two of their people up to Devil's Drop as Jacob's on the warpath trying to find the Wolf's Den and if the peggies find them, they don't stand a chance but if their guys won't give up the location, they'll be tossed off the cliff.
When I thought the mission was completed, I got to work on the extended part of the mission and I started this ATV towards Hawkeye Tunnel as that's where Devil's Drop is. And I noticed the beautiful waterfalls on my way there.
I got close to the tunnel and it looked like they took the whole tunnel so Eli suggested me to take the front if I'm crazy or head up top if I'm smart. I had to secure the tunnel and rescue the hostages.
I tried to be crazy smart so I climbed up to a part of the cliff first and after finding the right window, I shot down the two peggies who were guarding this entrance using the bow cause I planned the front quietly.
But when I was getting into the tunnel after taking those peggies down, some peggies noticed me and they were attacking me from all sides so I took the top path where I found a peggie whom I kicked and pushed out of the cliff.
Then there came this chopper to take me down and I took cover there as I lost a lot of health and suddenly I noticed the mission was failed as the hostages were killed.
This time I didn't go crazy, I was focused on being smart so I chose to go up top and after ignoring the peggies on the entrance, I reached this drop point where I noticed a peggie was guarding the hostages when two more were dropping dead bodies off the cliff.
I didn't wait to take action as I noticed the peggies kills the hostages soon after I reach the location if I don't do anything fast. But my approach was not right so I died there after rescuing the hostages.
This was another try when I took down all three peggies on this side before they could shout and call the others. I noticed one of them fell from the drop off point as well.
Then I recued the hostages at first and they took weapons on their hands to join me the fight. There came some peggies and I started shooting them taking a weapon from one of them.
When I was fighting the peggies on the ground, there came the chopper and the peggies from the chopper started shooting me with heavy bullets.
I tried shooting down the chopper but it looked stronger so later I used this rocket launcher and I destroyed the chopper shooting a rocket which looked cool. I was trying to use the photo mode to capture that moment but the photo mode doesn't work at certain times like this so I lost the chance to capture a moment that shows how I took down the chopper.
I rescued all the hostages so the secret of Lion's Den is safe, the mission was completed, the tunnel was secured and then I noticed some peggies were trying to use the tunnel so I started shooting them with the rocket launcher.
