After re-entering the heavily guarded entrance near an active anti-aircraft cannon, I used cover and foliage to methodically eliminate patrol guards. After taking out a soldier attempting to report the canon's status, I advanced to the site and executed remaining personnel with silent machete takedowns, and successfully cleared the entire area.
I re-engaged the area by approaching a different, heavily guarded entrance situated right next to the anti-aircraft cannon position. Movement from afar alerted a nearby female patrol officer, but I slipped into the dense flora and waited.
As she gave up her search and turned around, I closed the distance and executed a silent machete takedown. The commotion caught the attention of another patrol, but I maintained cover until she called off her immediate search.
I remained still inside the foliage until she called off her immediate search and began walking away. As I moved deeper along the perimeter, I noticed two more guards searching for my presence.
I drew my silenced sidearm and shot one of them instantly with a headshot. The second guard saw the attack from a distance, but he could not confirm my exact location.
He moved over to inspect his fallen teammate, giving me the perfect moment to strike. I ambushed him before he could raise an alert or confirm where I was hiding.
Continuing my sweep through the thick floral cover, I overheard an FND soldier attempting to radio his commander with an update about the active anti-aircraft cannon. Before he could finish his transmission and reveal the situation, I closed in on him and cut his message short with a swift machete execute.
With the surrounding paths fully cleared, my stealth approach was going completely according to plan. Next, I focused on reaching the anti-aircraft cannon itself. I moved toward the massive artillery structure, carefully monitoring the open ground ahead.
I spotted a soldier who was completely distracted while practicing his marksmanship on a target. I crept up behind him without making a sound and took him down quietly using my machete.
Only one guard remained near the main cannon installation. As I approached, he caught a brief glimpse of me from a distance and began searching the immediate area. I stayed patient, using the surrounding obstacles to keep out of his direct line of sight while he continued his sweep.
Once his back was turned, I sprinted forward, closed the remaining gap, and eliminated him quietly with another machete strike. With every guard in the immediate vicinity neutralized, I fully secured the anti-aircraft site without breaking cover.
How about we continue in another post?
