The more powerful and original a mind, the more it will incline towards the religion of solitude. Our imagination functions much better when we don't have to speak to people. Solitude gives birth to the original in us, to beauty unfamiliar and perilous - to poetry. But also, it gives birth to the opposite: to the perverse, the illicit, the absurd.
I sighted a lady in my studio and i decided to draw and paint her image. I made use of oil on canvas as my medium of expression.
