For today’s prompt, I decided to create something less complicated. I’m learning bit by bit to take joy in the simplest of designs. Sometimes times, I create a really complex sketch, then when the time comes to finish it , I get stuck. In this inktober, one of my goals is to learn how to take things a step at a time from basic to complex. But I’m pretty pleased with how this turned out. Here’s an invisible lady in a stunning suit!

Materials : Unipin Ink pens, Staedtler pencils, Reeves Gouache paint, Sinoart sketchbook
I sketched exactly what my reference looked like, with my focus on the suit alone
I painted in my background with markers at first but it wasn’t neat enough, so I made use of a tape to give it a crisp edge, then I made use of a black gouache paint. The reason for the rectangle was to give the drawing a bit more life and character.
I made use of the hatching & cross- hatching method of shading.
