One of my favorite things about Christmas is the opportunity to play dress up as Santa’s little helper, with Santa in this case being my mom. It’s basically a tradition for us every year where we distribute food to our neighbors in the spirit of the season. They appreciate it a lot. It’s a tradition generally for most homes in Nigeria, and a joke about it is that, if you don’t get food, then maybe your neighbors don’t like you lol! I hope you’re enjoying the Christmas celebration already ; )

Process!
I made use of a Staedtler mechanical pencil 0.7, Winsor & Newton/ Van Gogh watercolor set and my Sinoart sketchbook
I thought it be a bit boring to leave today’s drawing without a little color, as Christmas is associated with one of the loudest colors ever, which is red. So I selected the Holly plant as today’s muse! I sketched out the plant before drawing the character, then I went on to shade the character before painting the plant
