Hello! Today’s watercolor painting is of a unique flower! I got inspired by the photograph of a paper flower. It was so beautifully crafted, I knew I had to paint it ; )

Probably due to it being a paper flower, I found it easier to lay my colors. I made use of the color mauve for this painting. In a real flower, let’s take the rose as an example, you can find lots of color in a single red petal. Which makes painting get difficult for me sometimes. I really enjoyed painting this flower, it’s my favorite painting so far from the art challenge: )
I made use of vangogh watercolor, Sinoart sketchbook and a rotring pencil for this painting!
