Today's works was a rollercoaster for me. I tried making strawberry but failed pretty badly.
The Unsuccessful Attempt
I started making it from a YouTube video tutorial. The video was in some other language, and it was unintelligible. The subtitles were also distorted. So just looking at the actions, I found it pretty simple. And started making it.
It seemed fine at first, but afterwards I felt something wrong, as it was getting flater and flater🤦!
Then I gave it another chance!
But I was again disappointed by the results. And my brain was like 🥴 what's going on?
A Successful Attempt
I was determined to make something. So I thought to take some gap from it and do something else.
I looked for something beautiful and yet simple on YouTube. And when I saw those flowers I could not resist trying them out!
Inspiration
So I gathered my energy again and took the first step.
Process
It's first step was to make a magic ring and do 12 single stitches.
And after closing it, the yarn was to be changed with any desired colour.
The petal started with 3 chains and 3 double crochet in first stitch and 3 in the next one.
And the petal is completed by 3 chains and a slip stitch in the last stitch, where you just double crocheted.
The process repeated is all way round, i.e. 1 petal was made upon 2 stitches, a total of 6 petals.
So that was how, the video described.
I followed the steps
And I made the first petal successfully!

And hurray I made the complete flower🎉
Then I thought this flower needs a friend 😅
"Now what am I gonna do with them?" Ofcourse they're gonna be part of the bigger family 😅. I attached them to the previously made keychain.
So how is this improved version of the key chain?🙃
