You forgot a possibility, that Hive, much like Steemit, is a giant crypto circle jerk where Crypto and all things crypto receive the bulk of the exposure, votes, traction...and things geared towards normal human beings ( you know the ones who exist in the millions on other sites...but are not coming here) get a big shrug.

I written several posts over my time here, that I'm sure you would "hate". My opinion has not changed since this circle jerk moved to Hive, and feel free to tell ME to "make yourself more interesting or GTFO". Me being a internationally award nominated writer and illustrator who has worked on The Tick, Mad Magazine, Image Comics, and for Comedy Central. Heard of any of those things? The rest of the world has. You'd be in a very sour minority to proclaim that I and my content is not interesting enough.

The entire fucking world was on lockdown for several months and yet ...how many new users did this crypto shitshow manage to cull? hmm? maybe 12? who probably left and ain't coming back. The lack of growth here is due to one thing...and it ain't guys not making good enough content, it's that content not getting the spotlight it should, in order to get normal human beings interested.

The frustrations of people putting out legitimately good content often get the response you just gave and the way you just gave it, so...add yourself to the list of things wrong with this place.

Me, myself, personally...I keep posting here because of the INSTANT save feature. If my computer crashes mid-word. When I reboot, everything including the first few letters of that last word are still waiting there for me. That's pretty damn handy. As for the rest...I can dwarf the exposure I get here anyplace else. And I'm not the first, only, or the last creative to figure that out.

And I'll say this again...that Hive you're accumulating, imagine how much more it would be worth if creative content makers felt more appreciated here, posted more ( or didn't just leave) and the millions of normal people on social media started showing up to see it.
