A few months ago I started the second campaign of the community puppet workshop, today I will try to explain how inflation in Venezuela and the high volatility of the steem market currently made change a little the goal for which I had to add more money.
Perhaps one of the most important problems that he was able to face in the last few months was that he became ill. and this obviously made it impossible for him to promote the workshop, which is done personally by me and did not directly involve other third parties. however as soon as I recovered breath I continued with the promotion going out to the market to verify the prices of the products that I have to buy as paints adhesives and I made an incredible finding the inflation in Venezuela is not only based on its currency Fiat, nowadays the dollar is used as a reference of value and to combat the inflation but even so unscrupulous trades raise the price of the products in dollars. This means that if a product cost $3 it is probable that it will no longer cost the same, not only because the price of the dollar against the Bolivar increases, but also because it can double its value, costing $4 $5 and up to $6, and this is the case of a simple cold painting, which is necessary to give life to the puppet.
seeing this circumstance I had forced myself to increase the final goal but not only to increase the cost of the products that in itself is already high I also dared to double the number of children who will participate from 25 children initially to a goal of 50 children.
What I have collected through fundition through their valuable collaborations I have transformed into Venezuelan Fiat currency and in turn I have bought dollars this in order to slow down a bit the high cost of things and as it quickly devaluates, if I did not do this the volatility of steam in the night plus inflation that suffers Venezuela would practically lose all the money for this workshop. So far I have raised $236 from the second campaign and I still have to get $1164.
the new collaborators or those who are interested in supporting this project can verify behind the updates of fundition imposed on steemit how was the experience of collection in the first campaign and how it verifiably records the expense that I made materials and the success of the first workshop I think is the greatest guarantee I have for other collaborators to be safe in making their donations.
in this moment I am somewhat worried because I am very far from the goal and I need all the collaboration that I can get from you users of the blockchain. in the next few days we will be trando the site where the workshop will be held and plot a strategy to make a kind of history of each of the children involved in this second campaign.
